This workshop will deepen music creators' understanding of copyright in musical works, the revenue streams which flow from it, and rights retention strategies. Attend to gain an understanding of creators' legal rights under Canadian copyright law, the revenue streams available to rights holders, the importance of rights retention and retention strategies creators may employ when negotiating contractual arrangements involving the use of their works.
